Morning leave for Nuwara Eliya in the heart of the tea country travelling through misty mountains and emerald tea gardens. Lunch at Kitulgala.
Engage in an (optional) Whitewater rafting excursion at Kitulgala before leaving for Nuwara Eliya
Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.
Morning sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya including visit to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens.
Afternoon – proceed to Colombo via Kandy (optional train ride) after visiting a tea estate & factory.
The hill country train ride is one of the most spectacular train rides in the world and it is highly recommended to take this rid back to Colombo.
